Back by popular demand!!
Join us again this year and learn from the experts all about the "creepy-crawly" things that live at the bottom of our Lake and the story they tell about the health of our Lake over the longer term.
The District of Mukoka's Jared Stachiw, Biomonitoring Technician, would like your help in discovering what's living in the mud in Skeleton Lake. He will be taking samples of the mud, and needs your help to count all the types of "bugs" that can be found in the samples.
All folks, all ages, are welcome (children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult)
Participants will be told what to look for and what various "critters" are, what they do, why they're important and what their presence means for our Lake.
Come on out and,
