Each year, Jack and Ben get Mystery Fishing Tackle Boxes for their birthdays. With new lures and other fishing gear, they are all set for another fishing season on Skeleton Lake.  They both LOVE fishing with their father and grandfather early mornings - great for mom and nana who get to sleep in!

The boys descend from a long line of Davidson fishermen!  In fact, Ben and Jack's great-grandfather, Bob Davidson, was responsible for starting the annual Fishing Derby and ran it for many years before his son Tom took over. Here's Tom's account of how the Fishing Derby came to be!

The paddle board was generously donated by Skeleton Lake Marina and raised approximately $800 for the Skeleton Lake Cottagers Organization

Unfortunately, the 2023 Regatta was cancelled du to inclement weather but look for its return in 2024 on its traditional date on the Saturday of the August Long Weekend.
