Dock/Store Person

We are looking for polite, courteous people with high energy and a focus on customer care to join our dockside and store front team at our Skeleton Lake Marina Location.

The position is for the season from May until September, and there will be training provided however, previous cash, customer service and some computer skills are helpful.  This is a flexible schedule which includes working some weekends.

Duties will include but not limited to:

    • Opening and closing procedures for store and fuel dock
    • Light property maintenance indoors and outdoors including cleaning
    • Fueling of boats and PWC (training will be provided)
    • Must be minimum of 16 years of age, able to work both indoors and outdoors, be able to lift 50 lbs frequently daily, climb ladders up to 8 ft
    • Proficient computer skills
    • Answer and record phone messages accurately, legible, report messages to correct person.
    • Work weekends-holidays throughout July & August

Cleaner

No Previous experience required; training will be provided.

Working with the service coordinator, you will be part of Muskoka Marinas' growing service department. Your primary objective will be to ensure the highest level of service for our valued customers; this means completing a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

    • Power wash/hull scrubs of boats
    • Clean/detail boats to our highest of standards
    • Clean trucks and equipment
    • Maintain general tidiness of shop and yard
    • Maintain a positive and fun work environment we have come to know and love
    • Work independently and efficiently to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements:

    • Handle the physical requirements; able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly daily
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines
    • Reliable transportation to and from work
    • Able to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings
    • Able to work outside in all weather conditions 
    • Outdoor clothing for all conditions
    • Climb ladders repeatedly, daily up to 9 feet
    • Must be a minimum 16 years of age.
