Mostly Water Workshop

Thirteen years ago the SLCO did a survey of all the property owners on Skeleton Lake. When asked what was the most important characteristic of the lake, overwhelmingly people answered “the water”.  

Our Mostly Water event is based on that response.  We believe that the more you know about the water of Skeleton Lake, the longer it will stay as clear and clean as it is.

Join us on Saturday, August 8th at 1:00 p.m. (new time) or the Mostly Water workshop at Camp Kwansind.  

• John Rice will teach us about the historic relationship between indigenous people and the water.  
  
• Jim Dyment will share his knowledge of the special attributes of the water in Skeleton Lake.
  
• Erin Dixon will describe new ways people are protecting lakes around the world.
  

We would love to have people of all ages attend, but especially you people who may take up the torch in future years.  We hope to see all there.
